The NRA Basic Shotgun Shell Reloading Course exposes students to the fundamentals of shotgun shell reloading. The course is designed to enable students to acquire the skills and attitude to produce safe, consistent, and accurate reloaded ammunition. Sucessful students will be given an NRA Certificate.

Course Goals:
The NRA Basic Shotgun Shell Reloading Course Goal is to provide the student with the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to safety reload shotgun shells.
Through this course the student will learn basic reloading procedures; information about choosing hulls, primers, powders, wads, and shot or slugs; information about different types of reloading equipment and their proper set-up and operation.
Note that the course is designed to impart knowledge on the reloading process, not to give loads for specific cartridges. Load information must be obtained only from reloading manuals published by the manufacturers of reloading components.
Course Length and Time Requirements:
This course is designed to be conducted during a one day period. If necessary, however it may be conducted a few hours at a time over several days.
The student / teacher ratio will be kept low to provide quality instruction.
