This course is designed to enable shooters to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude to produce safe, consistent, and accurate reloaded ammunition.
Course Length and Time Requirements
This course is designed to be conducted during a one day period. If necessary, however it may be conducted a few hours at a time over several days.
The student / teacher ratio will be kept low to provide quality instruction.
Course Goals:
The NRA Basic Metallic Cartridge Reloading Course goal is to provide beginning reloaders with the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to safely reload metallic cartridges.
Through this course the student will learn basic reloading procedures; information about choosing powders, primers, and bullets; information about different types of reloading equipment and their proper set-up and operation.
Note that the course is designed to impart knowledge of the reloading process, not to give loads for specific cartridges.
Load information must be obtained only from reloading manuals published by the manufacturers of reloading components
